VP Product Management

VEERUM continues to be on an exciting growth trajectory. With its leading-edge technology, VEERUM is reshaping how asset owners make decisions with its cloud-hosted application. VEERUM is on the search for a new Vice President of Product Management to help them define its roadmap and translate customer needs and opportunities into a compelling solution.

The Vice President of Product Management will build upon VEERUM’s predefined solutions and define market opportunities, product positioning, marketing, client support and client adoption.

Reporting to the CEO and working alongside the CTO, the Vice President of Product Management will engage in all aspects of product management from strategy to process improvements, conceptualizing, launching, and iterating. The successful candidate will also be responsible for collaborating with the marketing team to ensure alignment of product announcements and sales execution.

The right candidate will demonstrate the following qualifications:

  • 10+ years professional experience managing software products from inception through launch and iteration.

  • Strong understanding of the industrial capital asset industry and bringing products to market.

  • A willingness to roll up your sleeves and the work done in a growing company

  • Demonstrated ability to develop a roadmap and thoughtfully break down projects to MVPs.

  • Ability to maximize customer value with the least amount of resource; conduct market research to back up ideations and processes.

  • Strong ability to communicate openly and transparently, collaborating with teammates and customers to deliver high quality results.

  • Speaks and writes with clarity; welcomes opportunities to speak at conferences and writes articles for various publications.

  • Demonstrates a growth mindset - leads with curiosity and is open to feedback.

  • Ability to empathize with clients and understand their perspective.

  • Proven ability to communicate with and manage multiple stakeholders at various levels.

Additional qualifications that would be considered strong assets include:

  • Industry knowledge: Construction, Oil and Gas, Mining, Utility, Manufacturing, Geospatial

  • Infectious drive and energy level to motivate the team.

  • Experience with product pricing and financial analysis of gross margins and profitability.

  • Education in a quantitative analytical field such as engineering, business, mathematics or similar.
