Solutions Specialist

We are searching for a Solution Specialist to engage in all aspects of implementation, delivery, service, and support of VEERUM’s application and solutions to ensure their clients receive an epic customer experience.

The day-to-day activities of a Solutions Specialist will include:

​

• Technical Solution Delivery – Processing photogrammetry data, CAD designs, reality scans, and other 3D data into geo-referenced point clouds. Completing survey calculations and conducting QA/QC of data for ingestion to the VEERUM Digital Twin. Preparing, writing, and submission of technical reports for presentations to clients.

• Client Experience – Directly interface with clients to ensure delivery of an epic customer experience. Must be able to articulate the VEERUM solution to C-level executives as well as technical end-user operational and functional teams.

• Product Support - Work with the product development team to continuously improve the VEERUM solution and drive maximum client value.

The right candidate will demonstrate the following qualifications on their resume:

​

• 3 – 5+ years of GeoMatics experience and interaction with industrial clients in the Mining, Oil & Gas, Energy, Utilities, or Construction industries

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in a Geographic Science focus such as Geomatics/GIS

• GIS software knowledge, e.g., MapInfo, QGIS, etc.

• Experience with geospatial ETL or 3D WebGL software, e.g., FME, Potree, etc.

• Experience with least squares, control networks, error sources, and other geomatics related concepts

• Experience in office applications (e.g., Google Docs, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Ability to read, analyze, write, and interpret technical reports and manuals

• Field experience with different data capture devices and survey methodologies would be considered a strong asset

• An interest in exploring new advancements in geospatial processing.
