Intermediate Geospatial Solutions Specialist

They are searching for an Intermediate Geospatial Solutions Specialist to be focused on delivering client value by understanding our clients’ needs, serving as a subject matter expert on VEERUM’s technology solutions, and leading successful client engagements while ensuring the security of the client’s data.

The day-to-day activities will include:

  • Be a single point of client facing contact for the Solutions Team on designated clients.

  • Mentor, coach and coordinate more junior Solutions Team members and assist with new employee onboarding.

  • Actively monitor how the client data is loaded, transmitted, stored and manipulated to ensure its confidentiality (only authorized users), integrity (no loss of accuracy or functionality) and availability (no loss of data)

  • Coordinating with internal teams to troubleshoot any program obstacles to implement and deliver on client commitments.

  • Ensuring data security and client confidentiality.

The right candidate will demonstrate the following qualifications on their resume:

  • A post-secondary degree, diploma or advanced certification in Computer Science with a focus on Geographic Sciences as Geomatics, GIS, 3D Development, or similar

  • At least 3 - 5 years demonstrated experience in a SaaS focused industrial software company or similar as part of the client facing support or success team role.


Additional qualifications that would be considered strong assets include:

  • Experience or knowledge in Agile Software methodology as it pertains to client use case discovery, user story development and implementation.

  • Demonstrated experience in a team environment where you were leading, mentoring or coaching junior employees.

  • Field experience or demonstrated knowledge of modern reality data capture sensors, methodology and post processing of such data.

  • Safe Software (FME) experience in workflow creation and management.
